The Prepress Printing Process – What is Involved?

One of the key parts of the printing process is prepress. During prepress, printing specialists review the design and make amendments(*1-3). For example, colours may need to be altered to ensure the correct colour prints on the chosen paper. Images may need to be resized to account for bleed and cropping requirements, and so on. Prepress is essential to ensuring the final product matches the original design.
